Another Pemex! Always on the road for us when we want to sleep. We took the direction of a neighborhood unknown just to do the update of the 3 last days, that we couldn't have do the other days because we didn't found any internet connexion. Which Unitedstaten world! Domino's Pizza, McDonald, Burger King and other compagnies making money here laughting of our Mexican friends.

So after the update, we took the direction of Merida, always not taking the highway but the 'Libre', that past more in villages. So heading up to Chichen Itza, we saw another archaelogic site that we never heard about it announced on the road, Ek Balam.

Magnificient site, an incredible situation for the Mayas with their huge pyramid, they had the complete view on miles and miles away of completely flat landscapes. Not without restriction but not far, interesting site to visit, we took about one hour to visit Ekbalam.

Something to see, you can find another 'Ball Game' on one of the pictures, like in Tulum, Palenque and Monte Albán.

Back on the road heading up to Chichen Itza! Which surprise to see miles and miles of cars before the site entry and after too, with lot of buses at the entry and in the village near the site.

Incredible, impossible to find a parking for the van. So Chichen Itza will be for another time, we get other things to see right now!

We decided to take another road than the 'Libre' highway, heading up on the coast of the Mexican Golf. We discovered lot of handsome colonial villages of a rare beauty, still with the architecture of this era.

The churches more than everything, that are keeping heir old cute architecture! So we'll note Izama which is one of the most beautiful, but also Tepakán, Suma de Hidalgo and Dzilam González, and lot of other ones.

Tonight, we'll sleep in a coastal village, Dzilam de Bravo, right to a lighthouse.
