We woke up in a Pemex, near Tuxtla. We took a nice breakfast before taking back the road up to San Cristobal de Las Casas.

Going in the mountain had permit us to keep a colder temperature. More we were approaching San Cristobal, more the vegetation was changing.

The mountain villages are really cute, people seems to live differently from the other places. In San Cristobal, we took a look around the city trying also to find an internet connexion to update the website. We finally did it!

After, we took back the road up to Cascadas de Agua Azul, going more and more in a tropical forest.

When we took the street that goes down up to the waterfalls, two or three times we had to stop our vehicule. Each time, one or two girl are trying to sell their bananas and their product from the sugar cane.

We finally bought some bananas before arriving at the waterfalls, where a little Juan from about 9 years old asked us to keep the Bus for 10 pesos, the time we'll be at the waterfalls.

We took the time to visit those beautiful waterfalls in a tropical forest of the Chiapas. The water of the river is incredible, a kindly transparent blue and something more special, depending of the steps of the waterfalls or of the river, different transparent-blues are present.

So after we visit this touristic but beautiful site, we took back the road heading up to Palenque.

The landscape changed radically, passing from the tropical mountains to a totally flat landscape as far as our eyes are able to see!

We'll sleep in another Pemex and tomorrow we'll visit the handsome Palenque archaeological site.
