About our project 30/11/06 - Day 25 - Yuma - 5471 miles
Yesterday night, we took the time to appreciate the view we had of San Diego from the bay at night. Later on, driving up to El Centro, there was dangerous Strong Winds on about 60 miles. We were fighting with the steering wheel just like as we were on a sailboat during strong winds. So we slept in a Rest Area about 60 miles from El Centro. This city is situated between the Pacific ocean and the Arizona just as the name mentionned it.
 
This morning, we left the Rest Area around 11h30 heading up to Yuma. As we approach Arizona, the landscape become more and more desertic. At a certain time, we can realize that agriculture is incredibly present in this desertic area.
Just before Yuma, there was huge sand dunes as far as we can see with our eyes. Last year, we went there but we were driving at night so we missed everything.
 
Tomorrow, we have few things to do before crossing the Mexican border like looking for our car insurance and transfering our US money to Mexican Pesos. A map of the Mexico will also be certainly useful.
 
As we don't really know nothing about the Mexico, we don't know how often we'll be able to update the website. So we're sorry if updates are not made everyday!
